Terms and Conditions of Thames Plumbers Ltd...

       
  For the purpose of these terms and conditions 'We', 'Us' and 'Our' and 'Company' means Thames Plumbers Limited, 45 Ironmongers Place, Isle of Dogs,  
  E14 9YD. 'You', 'Your' or 'Customer' refers to you. By requesting an engineer for assistance from our company you are deemed to have accepted  
  these terms and conditions.  
     
  Disclaimer;  
  Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information contained in pages of Thames Plumbers web site. However, contents are subject  
  to change from time to time and Thames Plumbers can accept no liability for the accuracy of all the information presented at any given time.  
  The company reserves the right to make changes without notice.  
     
  Works;  
  Should our company agree to undertake any works for the Customer then those works should be carried out by a designated engineer of our company only.  
  We reserve the right to refuse or decline any works at our own discretion. The company will not be responsible for any works carried out which has been  
  advised by our engineers or for works that has been carried out to the request of the customer without confirmation with our company.

  
     
  Rates;  
  Rates supplied on our website are for guideline use only. We reserve the right to change our charges according to the level of difficulty of work and/or the  
  time estimated we may take to complete the works we may agree to undertake. Our rates will be made clear to customers when they contact our company  
  for assistance prior to commencement of work.  
     
  Guarantee;  
  Most works completed by our engineers are guaranteed from the completion date with manufacturers warranty in force for all materials and machinery;  
  however, we do not cover any accidental damages made to the works completed by us after our engineer has left the works premises with a signed  
  invoice, by you or the resident, confirming the satisfactory completion of works.  
               
  WORK DESCRIPTION     GUARANTEE DURATION  
               
  All machinery installations only (washing machines, dishwashers, macerators and shower        
  pumps etc)     : 4 WEEKS    
               
  General plumbing repairs : 4 WEEKS    
               
  New plumbing pipe works (Boiler installations, new bathroom and kitchen installations, new pipe        
  work etc)     : 1 YEAR    
               
  Unclogging blockages in toilet, waste and drainage systems : NONE    
               
  Works carried out on inferior conditioned boilers and heating systems or any existing materials of        
  inferior condition such as old taps, old stopcocks, gate valves, old pipe work and old fittings etc : NONE    
               
  Work completed to the request of the customer without prior confirmation with our company : NONE    
               
  PLEASE NOTE:  
  We ensure all parts and materials supplied and installed by our company are genuine parts and are of brand new condition. With manufacturers warranty  
  in force, should any part/material we have previously installed breakdown due to a manufacture fault a labour time will be chargeable to dissemble  
  the faulty part and install the new part/replacement but not for the time we spend to re-diagnose the fault.  
     
  Materials and collection;  
  Should we need to leave the workplace during works to collect essential materials a collection charge will be chargeable to the final bill (e.g. should the  
  engineer spend two hours to collect materials; you will not be charged for the two hours as labour time). The charges are as follows:
  
     
  All materials supplied by our company will be charged at the trade price + 20%  
     
  Final charges and payment;
  
  The final charge shall consist of the total hours of labour worked or quoted otherwise (all rates are stated on our website) plus materials supplied by our
  
  company or purchased from any merchants and collection charge (all subject to 15% VAT).  
     
  All payments are required immediately after the completion of agreed works between the customer and our company.  
     
  All invoiced payments are due immediately or within 5 working days of the issue date stated on the invoice.  
     
  Should we fail to receive full payment within 5 working days from the issue date of the invoice then an accumulated daily interest rate of 3% will be charged  
  on top of the outstanding amount until all payments owed to us has been paid in full.
